Debt #1 is GONE!

Well, we got paid today and I was able to pay off our $700.00 best buy card, with $400.00 leftover to go into savings!! I am super excited that the plan is working. I am even more excited that I have one less bill to remember to pay every month. I have a feeling we will be doing a little more spending this month (very busy with company) then usual but we still met our goal of paying off a debt.

    Just wondering...if you have your 3-6 month emergency fund established already, why didn't you put the $400 towards the medical bill? But, hey, congrats on saving it and not spending it, in any case.

    cptacek......that's what I would have done if it was just me. DH wanted to have a little more in savings for emergencies. (not sure what would cost all of our EF...but whatever). He didn't read the book with me...so a little bit of agreement from him at a time is all I can get.
